LA Tactile Lab is always interested in connecting with artists, makers, designers, and educators who are passionate about sharing their knowledge and building creative community.

We offer classes, workshops, lectures, demonstrations, and special programs that explore fiber, textiles, craft, and material-based practices. Our teaching artists bring a wide range of perspectives, skills, and approaches to the classroom, creating meaningful learning experiences for students at all stages of their creative practice.

Whether you teach a one-day workshop, multi-week course, lecture, or intensive, we are interested in hearing from you.​

Who We Are Looking For

We welcome proposals from artists and educators working in areas including:

• Knitting

• Weaving

• Crochet

• Embroidery

• Beading

• Specialty Sewing

We are especially interested in instructors who foster inclusive, engaging, and hands-on learning environments and who are excited to share both technical skills and creative inquiry with our community.

Teaching Opportunities

• 5–10 images of your work (or links to work samples)

• A short description of the class, workshop, or program you would like to teach

• Proposed class length and format

• Any equipment, materials, or technical requirements

LA Tactile Lab is a community-centered space built on curiosity, generosity, experimentation, and the exchange of knowledge. We believe learning happens through making, conversation, collaboration, and play. We encourage proposals that invite participants to explore materials in thoughtful, accessible, and innovative ways.
