Service Description
Intro to Overshot Weaving January 24th/25th, 9am-4pm. Learn the principles of overshot and weave your own geometric overshot fabric in this 2-day workshop! Attendees will learn about the history of overshot weaving, practice reading drafts, dress the loom, and weave their own mesmerizing overshot fabric on a floor loom. Experimentation with color, fiber, and texture is encouraged! Participants should have some previous weaving experience and are encouraged to start with an intro to weaving course if they do not have previous experience. About the instructor: Emily Graham (she/her) is a fiber artist who lives in Orange County. She began her weaving journey in 2022 at Penland School for Craft in North Carolina and has been weaving on table and floor looms ever since. She particularly loves weaving overshot. Emily is currently getting her K-12 teaching credential in Art.

Cancellation Policy
Studio Policies Payment in full is needed at the time of registration. Student cancellations more than 4 weeks in advance of a workshop are fully refundable, minus a 20% processing fee. Cancellations 2-4 weeks in advance are 50% refundable, minus a 20% processing fee. There is no refund for cancellations made less than 2 weeks before the workshop. The only exception to this policy is if your spot can be filled from a waitlist, in which case you will receive your refund minus a 20% processing fee. If a workshop is cancelled by an Instructor for any reason you will receive a full refund, unless you prefer to apply your payment to another workshop.
