Service Description
A unique course that dives into material sourcing and processing, hand and machine tufting techniques and additional processes specific to textile artists Liv Aanrud and Svetlana Shigroff such as painterly techniques and alternative material use. In weeks 1 and 2 , join artist Svetlana Shigroff to experiment with alternative materials and processing, sourcing fabrics and trims in dtla and hand tufting techniques. In weeks 3 and 4, Liv Aanrud guides participants through painterly techniques, machine tufting and yarn finishing. Across four immersive weeks, you'll gain insight into the creative processes and material sensibilities that define each artist's signature textile style and leave with two samplers that will inform your own practice.

Cancellation Policy
Studio Policies Payment in full is needed at the time of registration. Student cancellations more than 4 weeks in advance of a workshop are fully refundable, minus a 20% processing fee. Cancellations 2-4 weeks in advance are 50% refundable, minus a 20% processing fee. There is no refund for cancellations made less than 2 weeks before the workshop. The only exception to this policy is if your spot can be filled from a waitlist, in which case you will receive your refund minus a 20% processing fee. If a workshop is cancelled by an Instructor for any reason you will receive a full refund, unless you prefer to apply your payment to another workshop.
