Join artist Liv Aanrud for this class and tuft the world you want to see! Materials and machines included! Form and function come together in this engaging introductory tufting workshop, where students will design and create a custom tufted frame for a mirror. In “Tuft Your Own Mirror," participants will be guided through the fundamentals of tufting, including an overview of materials, workspace setup, and the safe, efficient use of a tufting gun. Students will learn essential techniques for building texture, shaping forms, and achieving clean edges while translating their design ideas into a functional decorative object. By the end of the workshop, participants will leave with a completed mirror framed in their own original tufted design, as well as the foundational skills to continue exploring tufting in future projects. No prior experience needed. Materials provided: Loop Pile tufting gun and frame Yarn, scissors and monkscloth One half day of open studio (TBA) will provided for finishing.

Cancellation Policy
Studio Policies Payment in full is needed at the time of registration. Student cancellations more than 4 weeks in advance of a workshop are fully refundable, minus a 20% processing fee. Cancellations 2-4 weeks in advance are 50% refundable, minus a 20% processing fee. There is no refund for cancellations made less than 2 weeks before the workshop. The only exception to this policy is if your spot can be filled from a waitlist, in which case you will receive your refund minus a 20% processing fee. If a workshop is cancelled by an Instructor for any reason you will receive a full refund, unless you prefer to apply your payment to another workshop.
